My name is Karen Hlade, and I have been teaching at Prairie Vista for 11 years, 9 of which have been in fifth grade. I graduated from Ball State University with my Bachelor's Degree and Indiana Wesleyan with my Master's Degree. I'm currently taking classes online through Purdue University for my High Ability license.
I am married to my husband Chris, and we have a wonderful little boy named Jack, who is 19 months old. He is the light of our lives, and has been such a blessing to our family. He has such a funny personality, and is always good for a laugh! Chris is a computer program developer at Pinnacle of Indiana. He also enjoys playing soccer on several teams.
